High School Classes

1. Exploring Solar Careers (High School Work-Based Learning)

This course is a hands-on, practical overview of solar electricity and how it's designed, bought, and installed. Students will learn modern solar electric installation practices while using industry standard equipment and parts. Students can use what they learn in this course to earn real industry certifications like NABCEP PV Associate, OSHA 10, and a variety of equipment manufacturer certifications, like IronRidge’s Certified Installer.

Our Summer Bootcamp is a fast-track, intensive program perfect for high school students who want to gain critical solar energy skills over the summer. This immersive course mirrors the depth of our Solar Construction program but in a condensed format, providing students with the tools, knowledge, and certifications needed to thrive in the solar workforce.

Duration: 4 weeks | Time: 8 hours/day | Total: 160 Hours
